The &Award is a digital media awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Digital Association and supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation, and the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
Welcome Savings Bank explained that the story of a visually impaired marathon runner completing the Athens International Marathon in Greece alone with the help of an assistive device called "Welcome Dream Glass" emotionally conveyed to viewers played a major role in winning the award.
Also, the depiction of experts from various fields working together from the start of the project to achieve the hope called "dream" resonated with viewers and had a significant impact on the evaluation.
Park Seongsu, director of Welcome Savings Bank in charge of this dream tech project, said, "Welcome Savings Bank will continue to carry out social contribution activities that the public can relate to through various projects."
