Korean entertainment talenthouse DSP, who manages the careers of girl groups KARA and Rainbow, will reveal a new male idol group in five years later this month.
According to a press release by the firm on Monday, DSP will announce their new idol group through MBC's upcoming reality program, “Making the Star-DSP BOYZ” (tentative title), on April 28.
While the boys are known to be making their official debut through music programs in May, officials say that the reality show and teaser videos, which will be uploaded onto DSP’s official Youtube channel starting today, will provide a sneak peek of the members before May.
DSP Media kicked off its start in the business with Sechs Kies, the first generation of Korean idols that made their debut in 1997.
The firm has been producing a number of notable idol groups in the local music scene since, such as KARA, SS501, Rainbow and Click-B.
