Top Korean rock band CNBLUE will release a track from their upcoming third mini-album this week, according to their agency FNC Music on Tuesday.
FNC said in a statement that they will release CNBLUE's first track, written by the group leader Jung Yong-hwa, through various online music service providers on March 16 along with a video of the group in the recording studio on their official YouTube channel.
The firm also unveiled the cover to the group's album but the record's release date has yet to be announced.
"CNBLUE worked really hard on this album even though they were busy with their activities overseas. And we hope that their upcoming album will show a different side to the group," an official with FNC said in the press release.
Their studio record "FIRST STEP," which was released in May last year, was the group's first release in the country and the album produced hit songs "Intuition" and "LOVE GIRL."
CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been focusing on their activities in Japan and overseas. They recently wrapped up their Asia tour and released the Japanese single "Where You Are" last month.
In the meantime, CNBLUE recently held a joint concert in Los Angeles with their FNC labelmates FTIsland which attracted some 5,000 fans to the show.
