Songstress IU and K-pop idols Wonder Girls placed atop televised music programs over the weekend.
IU scored her first win on KBS' Friday music show "Music Bank" with her new title track "YOU&I" from her second full-length album "Last Fantasy."
"First of all, I want to thank my parents and my grandparents. I also want to thank everyone at my agency and my fans who waited so long to support me," IU said during her acceptance speech.
IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, claimed the top spot on all online music charts with her title track "You&I" upon its release on November 29.
Meanwhile, Wonder Girls took home their third Mutizen Award for their song "Be My Baby" on SBS' Sunday program "Inkigayo."
