2NE1 will show they are "The Coolest" on SBS music show this Sunday

Korean female idols 2NE1 will give their first performance of new song "The Coolest" on SBS' music program this weekend, according to their agency YG Entertainment's official blog on Wednesday.

The blog unveiled a cartoon image of 2NE1 member Park Bom with the phrase "2NE1's comeback performance of 'The Coolest' on 06.26 SBS' Inkigayo," indicating that the girls will take to the stage of "Inkigayo" on June 26.

The webpage also revealed a 30-second teaser video of their upcoming song with the lyrics "The Coolest" repeating over and over again with a bunch of flashing numbers.

2NE1, formed of other members Sandara Park, CL and Minzy, will simultaneously release the full version of the song and music video for "The Coolest" on June 24, while the group's mini-album with previous singles "Don't Cry," "Lonely," The Coolest" and two or three new tracks will hit stores on July 21.

The quartet will also hold their first concert in Korea on August 27 and 28 and then promote themselves in Japan the following month.
