KARA receives 11th gold status with 'Speed Up/Girls Power'

Korean girl group KARA has collected their 11th gold status with their latest Japanese single "Speed Up/Girls Power." According to the March data by the Japanese Recording Industry Association (RIAJ), KARA's new maxi single "Speed Up/Girls Power" sold over 120,000 copies since going on sale on March 21 to achieve gold status. KARA's single "SPEED UP/Girls Power," which features the title tracks "SPEED UP" and "Girls Power," has fared well on Oricon's daily and weekly chart by placing within the top three. So far, KARA has scored gold status for their albums and DVDS which makes them the first Korean girl group to achieve such feat following songstress BoA and boy band TVXQ.
