Billboard Korea to host K-pop concert in Las Vegas in Nov

Billboard Korea will host a K-pop concert in Las Vegas this November, according to its official website. On Friday, the website showed that Billboard Korea will invite some of the top acts in K-pop music for the "KPOP MASTERS" concert to be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on November 25."We are thrilled to work with our partners at Billboard Korea to gather some of the very best K-Pop performers for this historic concert," Howard Appelbaum, president of Brand Development at Prometheus Global Media which is the parent company of Billboard, was quoted as saying.The website also showed that an official with MGM said, "This event will feature some of today's brightest stars in the Korean music industry and we're looking forward to showcasing their international talents, and the future of K-Pop music, to the fans here in Las Vegas."Billboard has yet to reveal the lineup for the show but an official with Billboard Korea told 10Asia over the phone today that details will be released in early October.In August, U.S. Billboard launched the music chart "Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 100" which features the top artists based on digital sales via leading websites and downloads from mobile service sites.The chart is featured simultaneously on Billboard.com, the international chart section of Billboard.biz, Billboard magazine, and on Billboard Korea's website, billboard.co.kr.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
