SM artists to hold additional show for concert in Japan

Top artists of major Korean talenthouse SM Entertainment will hold an additional show for their upcoming SMTOWN concert in Japan this September. According to a press release from SM on Thursday, "SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION," originally scheduled for two days in Japan, has been extended to three days and will now take place at Tokyo's prestigious Tokyo Dome on September 2, 3 and 4 which will accommodate up to 150,000 fans combined. The shows in Japan had first been set for April 9 and 10 but were postponed in consideration to the recovery efforts that the country was going through after the earthquake and tsunami that hit in March. The singers had previously performed in Japan at the Yoyogi National Stadium where they attracted over 24,000 fans to the show during its two-day run in late-January. “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR” which features group and joint performances from TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee and f(x), has already been held in Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Shanghai and recently in Paris. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
