The drama "Lady Dua," starring Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk, has topped the Netflix global chart for two consecutive weeks.
According to Netflix's official website "Netflix Top 10" on March 4, the series recorded 4.3 million views (calculated by dividing total viewing hours by runtime) from February 23 to March 1, ranking first in the non-English TV show category. By country, it took the top spot in eight countries, including Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, and entered the top 10 in 49 countries.
"Lady Dua" is a mystery thriller about Sarah Kim (Shin Hye-sun), who tries to transform her life into a luxury brand by assuming a fake identity, and detective Park Moogyeong (Lee Jun-hyuk), who pursues the desires hidden behind her facade. The series debuted at third place in the non-English TV show category in its first week, climbed to first place in its second week, and maintained the top position in its third week as well.
In addition, K-content continued to demonstrate its strength in the non-English TV show category, with "Undercover Miss Hong," starring Park Shin-hye and Ko Kyung-pyo, ranking seventh; "I Am Human Starting Today," starring Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon, ranking eighth; and "Can This Love Be Interpreted?" starring Kim Seon-ho and Ko Yoon-jung, ranking ninth. In the non-English film category, the movie "Pavane," starring Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min, secured fourth place with 3.3 million views.
Meanwhile, in the English TV show category, Season 4 of "Bridgerton," featuring Ha Yerin-a Korean-Australian actress and granddaughter of actress Son Sook-secured the top spot with 28 million views.
