KB Kookmin Card announced on March 4 that it has formed a strategic partnership with KT Skylife and launched the "KT Skylife KB Card" for customers who set up automatic payment of their Skylife bills.
This new card is specially designed to provide automatic payment discounts, helping Skylife customers who use bundled satellite TV and internet services to effectively reduce their communication expenses.
By setting up automatic payment of KT Skylife bills with the KT Skylife KB Card, customers can receive a maximum discount of 11,000 won per month, depending on their previous month's spending tier.
To commemorate the card's launch, additional discount benefits are also being offered to customers who have not used KB Kookmin Card for more than six months. If these customers set up automatic payment of KT Skylife bills with this card, they will receive extra monthly discounts based on their monthly spending for up to 24 months, in addition to the basic discount. As a result, if the maximum discount of 17,000 won per month is applied, customers can save up to 408,000 won on communication expenses over 24 months.
In addition, until March 31, customers who spend 30,000 won or more using KB Pay with this card will receive a 30,000 won cashback as part of a promotional campaign.
The annual fee for the card is 20,000 won for a physical card, and 14,000 won for a mobile-only card. Applications can be made through KB Pay, the KB Kookmin Card website, or customer service center.
A KB Kookmin Card representative stated, "This product was designed to minimize the bill burden for Skylife users and add convenience to daily life. We will continue to expand customer-centric financial services through a variety of partnership products in the future."
