Expansion of the 2026 Trax Crossover RS Lineup
Chevrolet announced on March 4 that it is launching the 'RS Ignite Edition' as a new addition to the 2026 Trax crossover lineup, with pre-orders opening ahead of official sales to customers.
The RS Ignite Edition is inspired by the rear red LED black bowtie that lights up the night. Based on the Rally Sport (RS) trim, it features red accents and carbon-look details to create a differentiated exterior design.
This special edition maintains the dynamic character of the existing RS trim while strengthening the red-accented design theme, aiming to provide a distinctive choice within the RS lineup.
For the exterior, it is equipped with carbon-look front skid plate inserts and carbon-look outside mirror covers. The RS-exclusive gloss black grille and Tritan chrome grille bar enhance the sophistication of the front design. The rear red LED black bowtie, applied to the rear, serves as a visual highlight and intuitively conveys the concept of this special edition.
Inside, the RS black & red point interior theme is applied, complemented by a black headliner for a unified look. The model delivers the unique, stylish RS atmosphere with red-accented air vents, a gloss black instrument panel, and red-stitched D-cut steering wheel and seats. Additionally, it includes all-weather cargo liners, all-weather floor liners (for both the first and second rows), and sport pedal covers, offering both refined design and practicality.
Chevrolet has expanded color choices for the 2026 Trax crossover by introducing 'Mochaccino Beige' to both RS and ACTIV trims and 'Chili Pepper Red' exclusively to the RS trim. After establishing a color lineup that reflects diverse customer preferences, the RS Ignite Edition further defines the design identity of the RS lineup.
The Trax crossover supports smart connectivity tailored to various driving environments. With OnStar-based OTA (Over-the-Air) wireless software updates, the vehicle's software can be kept up-to-date without visiting the service center. Connectivity features such as remote start, remote door lock, vehicle status information, and vehicle diagnostics are also provided for drivers seeking a smarter driving experience.
The price of the RS Ignite Edition is 28,860,000 won.
