Presenting Digital Innovation Strategies and Future Directions for Education
Dongduk Women's University announced on the 3rd that it held the 'AI Transformation Vision Ceremony' at the International Conference Room of the Yuldong Memorial Music Hall on campus on the 25th of last month.

The event was attended by Won-Young Cho, Chairman of the Dongduk Foundation, Myung-Ae Kim, President of Dongduk Women's University, as well as faculty members, who shared the university's future vision and direction for innovation.
This vision ceremony was organized in connection with the university's application for support in the 'AI-Centered University Project' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. It served as an official declaration of the university's strategic preparation and commitment to implementation both internally and externally.
On this day, Kyung-Jae Bae, Director of the Digital Innovation Planning Division at Dongduk Women's University, presented 'Leap to 2026 AI G3' as the goal, highlighting the following core initiatives: a complete reorganization of university education with a focus on AI, nurturing AI specialists and AX (AI Transformation) convergence talent, and establishing a foundation for attracting advanced AI talent at the master's and doctoral levels.
In particular, Dongduk Women's University plans to go beyond simply establishing new departments or expanding courses by implementing structural innovation (AX) that incorporates AI into all academic disciplines. Through this, the university aims to become a leading institution in cultivating convergence-type talent with AI competencies across all fields, including the humanities, arts, social sciences, and natural sciences.
President Myung-Ae Kim emphasized during the general faculty meeting, "The key is to improve overall understanding of artificial intelligence and to integrate it into the educational field."
