It was found that 67% of Gyeonggi Province residents have a positive view of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government.
Gyeonggi Province commissioned Embrain Public Co., Ltd. to conduct a regular opinion poll from February 20 to 22 this year. As a result, 67% of respondents said the provincial government is "doing a good job," 23% said it is "doing a poor job," and 10% answered "do not know/no response."

"Plus in My Daily Life, Gyeonggi" is this year's slogan for the operation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, presented with the aim of strengthening everyday life-oriented policies so that residents can feel changes in their daily lives. A total of 78% of residents responded that the direction is "desirable," while only 16% responded that it is "not desirable."
The most common reason for positively evaluating "Plus in My Daily Life, Gyeonggi" was "because it seems it will help my life," at 36%. This was followed by "because I like it overall" (19%), "because the direction and goals of the policies are clear" (19%), "because it fits well with the image of Gyeonggi Province" (13%), and "because the expression is easy and memorable" (7%).
Kim Wonmyoung, Director of Public Relations Planning for Gyeonggi Province, said, "Based on the results of this survey, we will continue to promote policies under the direction of 'Plus in My Daily Life, Gyeonggi' so that residents can tangibly experience real changes in their lives."
Gyeonggi Province is operating the "My Gyeonggi Benefits Report" (gg.go.kr/cont/gg_manual) website so that residents can more easily check and make use of policy benefits, allowing them to view personalized benefit information for each individual at a glance.
Meanwhile, this survey was conducted by Gyeonggi Province through telephone interviews using wireless virtual numbers with 2,000 Gyeonggi residents. The margin of error is ±2.2 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
