On the 26th, early-spring-like warm weather will continue. Morning lows are forecast to range from -4 to 8 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 10 and 15 degrees.
These temperatures will be higher than the seasonal averages (morning lows of -6 to 3 degrees and daytime highs of 7 to 12 degrees).
However, in the central region, the Jeolla region, and the inland areas of North Gyeongsang Province, the temperature difference between day and night will be 15 degrees or more, so people should take care of their health.
On the afternoon of the 20th, as Seoul's daytime high rose to 13 degrees and the weather turned mild, citizens near Gwanghwamun in Jongno-gu, Seoul, walked along the street holding their coats in their hands. 2026.2.20 Photo by Cho Yongjun
Dense fog is expected over inland areas nationwide and along the Jeolla coast. Until the morning, dense fog reducing visibility to less than 200 meters is expected in inland southern Gyeonggi, inland southern Gangwon, inland areas of the Chungcheong region, the Jeolla region, inland areas of the North Gyeongsang region, and inland western South Gyeongsang.
At airports, flight operations may be disrupted, so passengers are advised to check flight information in advance.
Jeju Island is expected to receive about 5 mm of rain, and Busan, Ulsan, and the southern East Coast of North Gyeongsang Province will also see light rain showers through the early morning.
In contrast, in parts of the capital area and Gangwon Province where dry weather advisories are in effect, the air will be very dry and the wind somewhat strong, so even small sparks could grow into large fires. Extra caution is needed to prevent fires.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between "good" and "normal" nationwide.
Waves will range from 1.0 to 3.0 meters off the East Coast, 0.5 to 1.0 meters off the West Coast, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters off the South Coast.
In the outer offshore waters (far seas within about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
