As global interest rate volatility increases and the restructuring of asset markets accelerates, a venue has been created to explore response strategies for individual investors. The Hanyang University Institute for Future Talent Education held a public lecture of the "Global Financial Investment Expert Program" on the theme of "Global Financial Environment and Survival Strategies for Individual Investors" at Hanyang University's International Building in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the 24th.

In the lecture, Kim Youngik, Head of the Naeil Hope Economic Research Institute, examined the phase of global monetary policy shifts and changes in capital cycles, and analyzed how the structural trends of interest rates, exchange rates, and liquidity affect asset markets. He emphasized the importance of structural understanding, saying, "We live in an era where it is not the amount of information but the framework of interpretation that determines performance."

Park Seik, CEO of Chesley Investment Advisory, focused his lecture on the behavioral psychology of market participants and asset allocation strategies. He stressed the need for strategic asset allocation that does not get swayed by short-term volatility, noting that "markets always move under conditions of incomplete information."

Park Byungchang, Director at Kyobo Securities, presented market response strategies from the perspective of practical trading and risk management. Highlighting the trading mistakes and psychological biases that individual investors repeatedly experience, he said, "Before talking about profits, you must first build a structure that allows you to survive in the market."

The lecture was conducted in a talk-concert format. Kim Soohyun, Chief Professor at the Hanyang University Institute for Future Talent Education, said, "The Global Financial Investment Expert Program comprehensively covers everything from understanding the structure of the macroeconomy to asset allocation, trading strategies, and risk management," adding, "Experts who have been making decisions on the front lines of the capital market participate with the goal of helping individual investors build their own decision-making frameworks."

The "Global Financial Investment Expert Program" is an 18-week program that begins next month, featuring experts from various fields, including Choi Hyunman, former Chairman of Mirae Asset Securities; Seo Yooseok, former Chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association; Kim Dongjin, CEO of Thinkpool; and Lee Sunyeop, CEO of AWF Partners.
