The entrance ceremony began with the guests entering under an honor guard by the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, and proceeded in the following order: opening declaration, national ceremony, academic report, declaration of admission, recital of the freshman declaration, and scholarship certificate awards. A celebratory musical performance by students from the Department of Acting and Performing Arts further brightened the atmosphere and congratulated the new students on their fresh start.

According to the academic report, since its opening in 1992, Daejin University has grown on the basis of its founding philosophy of "Sincerity, Devotion, and Conviction," and has established itself as a comprehensive university operating 10 colleges, 35 departments, and 6 divisions. To date, it has produced approximately 48,000 graduates, contributing to regional and national development.

Recently, the university has achieved significant results, including receiving an S grade in the performance evaluation of the University Innovation Support Project and being selected for the Regional Innovation-led University Support System (RISE) Project. It has also established a master's program at the Graduate School of Medical Science, thereby expanding the educational foundation for nurturing future medical science talent.

In his congratulatory address, President Jang Seokhwan said, "In the rapidly changing era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a university is not merely a place that delivers knowledge, but a place that cultivates talent capable of leading change," and he made three requests of the new students.

He emphasized three attitudes: enjoying the process of learning, a spirit of challenge that does not fear failure, and a mindset of communication, empathy, and consideration. He added, "Daejin University will serve as a strong driving force so that your dreams can become clearer and be connected to your future."

The congratulatory message from Chairman Yoon Eundo of the Board of Trustees was read on his behalf by the secretary general of the Baekhakmun Educational Foundation. In the message, new students were urged to devote themselves to scholarship based on the founding spirit of "Sincerity, Devotion, and Conviction," to reflect on themselves, and to pioneer their own futures. It also conveyed the hope that, since university life is a time to discover one's potential, they will not fear challenges, will learn even from failure, and will grow together with the community.

To help new students smoothly adapt to university life, Daejin University conducted a "New Student Human Rights Education" program run by the Human Rights Center before the entrance ceremony. In the afternoon, it held a "New Student Orientation (OT)" in each department's classroom, which included introductions of professors and guidance on campus life.

In addition, the university expressed its warm welcome by providing a free lunch to all new students and parents who attended the entrance ceremony. The event successfully concluded in the evening with club performances and a celebratory performance by a guest singer.

Daejin University plans to continue actively supporting new students so that they can fully realize their potential, through student-centered customized support and creative convergence education.
