Two Programs in Eco-friendly Agriculture and AI Marketing... Applications Accepted Until March 25
Sinan County in Jeollanam-do is recruiting new students for the 2026 academic year "1004 Islands Agricultural College" until March 25.
The Sinan-gun Agricultural Technology Center announced that it will open two programs, Eco-friendly Agriculture and AI Agricultural Product Marketing, with the goal of fostering professional farmers to promote specialized development of local agriculture and strengthen its future competitiveness. A total of 60 students will be selected, 30 for each program.
The training will be conducted over a total of 20 days (80 hours) from April to December, taking into account farmers' farming schedules, and will be concentrated during the off-season. The focus is on enhancing on-site application capabilities through practice-oriented education.
The Eco-friendly Agriculture program will combine sustainable cultivation techniques with hands-on training in input material production, and will also include support for obtaining technician-level certifications and field trips to advanced farms.
The AI Agricultural Product Marketing program will focus on distribution strategies using artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven marketing practice. It will cover the full spectrum of digital market expansion, including online direct transactions, live commerce operations, social media promotion strategy development, and practical training in opening and operating smart stores.
An official from the county said, "The 1004 Islands Agricultural College is a systematic educational program that nurtures professional farmers equipped with both eco-friendly technologies and AI-based marketing capabilities," adding, "We hope many farmers who will lead change and innovation in Sinan agriculture will participate."
