Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced on the 25th that it will freeze the interest rates for March 2026 on the Bogeumjari Loan, a long-term, fixed-rate, fully amortizing mortgage product. Accordingly, the standard interest rate for the 'Ahkkim-e Bogeumjari Loan' will be maintained at an annual rate of 4.05% (10-year) to 4.35% (50-year).
By maturity, interest rates of 4.05% for 10 years, 4.15% for 15 years, 4.20% for 20 years, 4.25% for 30 years, 4.30% for 40 years, and 4.35% for 50 years will apply. When preferential rates are applied, the minimum rate falls to the low 3% range. If additional preferential rates (up to 1.0 percentage point) are granted to low-income young adults, newlywed households, socially disadvantaged groups (such as persons with disabilities and single-parent families), and victims of Jeonse fraud, a minimum annual rate of 3.05% (10-year) to 3.35% (50-year) will apply. However, for the non-face-to-face 'u' method and the face-to-face 't' method, where the loan agreement and registration of the maximum amount mortgage are not processed electronically, 0.1 percentage point is added to the applicable interest rate.
