Gwangju University RISE Project Group announced on the 25th that it had recently run the "Job Enterprise ON Center Employee Training" for employees of workshops for persons with disabilities in Gwangsan District.
This training, held in the database practice lab at Baekin Hall on the Gwangju University campus, was a hands-on program that covered everything from basic understanding of finance and taxation, which are essential in corporate practice, to the use of ERP programs. It was designed with the goal of strengthening participants' job competencies and enhancing the practical application of these skills in their work.
Professor Shin Chunwoo of the Department of Accounting and Taxation and Kim Sunghyun, CEO of Gyeongyeong & Accounting Dream, shared with the employees a variety of real-world cases and practical know-how drawn from actual corporate settings. They also focused on improving understanding of which corporations and individual business owners are required to prepare financial statements, as well as systematically learning how to distinguish companies subject to external tax adjustments and how to respond to tax audits.
More specifically, the curriculum covered methods for preparing financial statements for individual and corporate business owners, classification of entities subject to external tax adjustments, and understanding of the faithful filing confirmation system, while simultaneously providing hands-on training in accounting, human resources, logistics, and production processes using an ERP program.
Participants said, "It was an opportunity to build basic capabilities to respond more proactively to uncertain tax audit situations and to enhance our practical sense in analyzing and solving problems based on actual accounting data."
