DSK 2026 is the largest drone exhibition in Asia. This year, 318 companies from 23 countries, including LIG Nex1 and Top Mobility, are taking part, offering a variety of programs such as exhibition halls, conferences, and drone experience events.
The corporation is operating the Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) exhibition hall, where it is presenting its drone traffic management (UTM) and urban air mobility traffic management (UATM) systems, which support flight approvals, route management, and other services required for drone and urban air mobility (UAM) operations. It is also exhibiting its DIVA system for inspecting air navigation safety facilities, which has expanded the inspection range to include sections that are difficult to access from the ground.
In particular, the corporation’s independently developed UTM system converted the drone flight approval process, which previously took an average of more than three days, into a real-time processing system. In recognition of this achievement, it received the Minister’s Award at the “2025 Land, Infrastructure and Transport Best Practices Competition.”
Yoon Youngjin, Head of the Construction Technology Division at Korea Airports Corporation, said, “Based on the technologies and experience accumulated in the course of airport operations, we will implement practical UTM and UATM systems,” adding, “We will lead the revitalization of the drone industry and innovation in future air traffic systems.”
