Roundtable Held to Commemorate the Proclamation of Urban Small Enterprise Day

The roundtable was organized to discuss and celebrate the initiative to designate Seoul Urban Small Enterprise Day in order to revitalize urban small enterprises in Seoul. More than 20 people attended, including President In, the president of the National Federation of Urban Small Enterprises, and heads of regional branches.
At the roundtable, President In introduced the corporation's major support programs for urban small enterprises and listened to the difficulties felt in the field and opinions on policy improvements.
Participants presented a variety of opinions related to rising raw material prices, expansion of sales channels, and improvement of working environments, and exchanged views on institutional and on-site support measures to strengthen the competitiveness of urban small enterprises.
President In said, "Small enterprises are key players that sustain the local industrial ecosystem based on their skilled technology and craftsmanship," adding, "The Small Enterprise and Market Service will continue to provide practical support by reflecting voices from the field in its policies."
