Pocheon-si Achieves 77.5% Pledge Implementation Rate Under 8th Administration...Tangible Results Felt by Citizens Pocheon-si is holding the "2026 Pledge Implementation Evaluation Team Progress Report Meeting" at the Pocheon City Hall administrative meeting room on the 24th. Provided by Pocheon-si.

The meeting was attended by senior public officials, including the Mayor of Pocheon, and members of the Pledge Implementation Evaluation Team, who discussed the performance of major pledges and strategies for their future implementation.

According to the report presented that day, of the 153 pledges under the 8th popularly elected administration, 74 have been completed, 75 are proceeding as planned, and 4 projects are either not yet initiated or on hold. As of the end of 2025, the average implementation rate of the pledges is 77.5%, which is an increase of 9.2 percentage points from the previous year. These figures indicate that the implementation of the pledges has moved beyond the planning stage and entered a phase in which tangible results are emerging.

In particular, last year saw the completion of major everyday life-oriented projects such as the construction of the Arium Sports Center, Phase 1 of the Han-yeoul Park Golf Course, and the creation of the waterfront park at Chogapalli Reservoir. Going forward, the city plans to steadily implement large-scale core projects such as the comprehensive development of Cheongseongsan and the creation of the Pocheon Blueway, so that they lead to visible changes in citizens' daily lives.

At the same time, the city has set "livelihoods" and "residential conditions" as the key directions for municipal administration in 2026, and plans to concentrate its administrative capacity on five major areas: stabilizing livelihoods and revitalizing the local economy; strengthening education and care services; fostering advanced industries; improving residential conditions and expanding everyday infrastructure such as parking facilities; and developing Pocheon-si into an attractive tourist city.

A member of the Pledge Implementation Evaluation Team who attended the meeting said, "Tangible results are emerging in areas closely related to everyday life," and added, "We hope you will continue your efforts to create a safe and convenient city."

An official from Pocheon-si stated, "The pledges we have been pursuing are gradually leading to changes in citizens' lives," and added, "We will continue to implement them responsibly for the remainder of the term so that they do not stop at implementation rates on paper, but are linked to outcomes that citizens can truly feel."

Pocheon-si plans to continue regular reviews and ongoing communication with the Pledge Implementation Evaluation Team, thereby strengthening the transparency and objectivity of the pledge implementation process and maintaining citizen-centered, accountable administration.
