This new product is a new lineup released by "E-CHECK (Icheck)," Dong-A Pharmaceutical's self-diagnostic test brand, for the first time in about three years following its pregnancy test and menopause test.
Unlike pregnancy tests, conventional ovulation tests determine ovulation not by the presence or absence of a result line, but by comparing the color intensity of the result line with that of the control line. Because of this, a faint result line may appear even when it is not the ovulation day, making it difficult for consumers to immediately interpret the result.
To address this, Dong-A Pharmaceutical provides a color chart together with the product. Users can instantly compare the color intensity of the test result line with the color chart and read the result in an intuitive and clear way.
Dong-A Pharmaceutical explained that it has applied to this new product the quality control capabilities and consumer usage experience accumulated over more than 10 years of operating pregnancy tests.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical representative said, "We have established an integrated self-diagnostic lineup that covers everything from the preparation stage for pregnancy to the confirmation stage," adding, "Icheck will continue to expand its self-diagnostic product portfolio in the field of women's health."
