SM Entertainment announced on the 25th that EXO has wrapped up a comeback commemorative shopping mall wrapping pop-up event in collaboration with QQ Music, China's largest music platform.
Starting on January 19, the release date of their 8th studio album "REVERXE," EXO operated a special pop-up designed around the album's concept for about one month at major shopping malls across 13 cities in China. This event was held in the largest number of cities among all K-pop artist pop-ups organized by QQ Music to date.
The wrapping pop-up initially launched in eight cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, and Lanzhou. Following the enthusiastic local response, five more cities were added: Shenzhen, Chongqing, Suzhou, Shijiazhuang, and Zhengzhou. According to QQ Music, the total number of visitors reached 600,000.
In response, EXO visited Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen sequentially over four days from the 6th to the 9th. The members communicated with local fans through various events, including autograph sessions and photo sessions.
EXO will hold their sixth solo concert tour, "EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon," at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul, from April 10 to 12.
