This on-site inspection was organized so that all key participants, including Association Chairman Jeong Seonyong, Standing Director Cha Byungjoon (Head of the Outdoor Advertising Center), the Director of the Spatial Innovation Bureau of Seocho-gu, professors from Baekseok Arts University, and design experts, could directly review the results of the project that has been carried out over the past year and explore future development plans.

The "Youth-Participatory Outdoor Advertising Design Project" implemented by the Association is a pioneering landscape improvement model that breaks away from the conventional method of simply replacing old signboards and instead combines the creative ideas of university students with the technical expertise of professionals.

Seoripul Akgigeori, the target area of this project, is a hub of classical music culture in Korea. The Association carried out a design improvement project for a total of 21 signboards on 5 aging buildings in this area.

In particular, students from the Department of Film at Baekseok Arts University were responsible for the first-stage design, while a professional design firm, Eoulrim Design Studio, conducted mentoring for the students and carried out the second-stage design, thereby enhancing practical completeness. In addition, from the early stages of the project, close communication with local residents led to a high level of consent and satisfaction.

Association Chairman Jeong Seonyong stated, "The Seocho-gu project is a valuable case in which the fresh sensibilities of young people have been realized in the field, providing them with an opportunity to build practical capabilities, while offering the local community a new landmark," adding, "We will continue to expand this youth-participatory model so that we can coexist with local communities and create urban landscapes that make people look forward to tomorrow."

Meanwhile, the Korea Local Finance Mutual Aid Association is currently recruiting local governments to participate in the "2026 Youth-Participatory Outdoor Advertising Design Project" until March 11.
