Korean Air announced on the 25th that it will participate in "Drone Show Korea (DSK) 2026," held at BEXCO in Busan, where it will present its vision for next-generation unmanned aircraft based on artificial intelligence (AI) and its advanced air mobility (AAM) technologies for the future.

DSK is Asia's largest drone-focused exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, among others. This year, a large number of companies with AI-based convergence technologies are taking part, and participation by overseas companies has also increased, with 23 countries confirmed to join this year, up from 15 countries last year.

Korean Air has set up a two-story booth, with the first floor serving as an exhibition area and meeting rooms, and the second floor as a lounge. In the exhibition's drone zone, the company will unveil, for the first time in Korea, a subsonic unmanned aircraft it is developing in collaboration with the U.S. AI defense company Anduril Industries. It will also showcase AI-powered small multipurpose unmanned aircraft, communications relay drones, and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) technologies based on swarm flight drone technology.

In the AAM zone, Korean Air will display "ACROSS," its independently developed traffic management and flight control system, along with an aircraft mock-up from U.S. company Archer Aviation. During the exhibition, Korean Air plans to hold seminars on unmanned aircraft technology and AAM technology, and to sign memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for business cooperation with global companies.

A Korean Air official said, "This participation will be an opportunity to promote our AI unmanned aircraft technologies currently in mass production and the latest next-generation mobility technologies," adding, "We will continue to take on challenges in various fields and leap forward as a comprehensive aerospace company."
