Integrated Support for Product Development and Brand Promotion
Laying the Foundation for Increasing Farm Income
Gyeonggi Province is openly recruiting an implementing agency for the "2026 Branded Livestock Products Production and Distribution Infrastructure Support Project" to strengthen the competitiveness of branded livestock business entities and secure stable sales channels.
The project aims to foster branded livestock business entities with strong competitiveness and self-sustainability by providing customized support that covers the entire process from product development to marketing and promotion. With a total project budget of 100 million won, the province will fund 50% with provincial funds, while the remaining 50% will be covered by self-financing.
Support will be provided in three areas: product development, market development, and brand promotion. Approximately three entities will be selected, but additional selections may be made after comprehensively reviewing the requested project budget and business feasibility. Eligible applicants are branded livestock business entities located in Gyeonggi Province with at least one year of operating performance, where at least 80% of participating farms are based in Gyeonggi Province. Corporations or sole proprietors that currently operate G Mark-certified branded livestock products, or wish to obtain such certification, are also eligible to apply.
Business entities wishing to apply must submit their applications by 6:00 p.m. on March 16, either in person, by mail, or through the local subsidy management system "Botaem-e." The application form, business plan, organization introduction, financial statements, and various certification documents must be prepared and submitted to the Animal Disease Control and Hygiene Division at the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office.
Lee Eunkyung, head of the Animal Disease Control and Hygiene Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "The competitiveness of branded livestock products is directly linked to the future competitiveness of the livestock industry in Gyeonggi Province," adding, "We will actively support local livestock brands so that they can achieve tangible results in increased sales and market expansion through systematic support from production to distribution and promotion."
