Swimming Pool, Community Care Center for Children, and Daytime Care Center for People with Disabilities to Be Established
On the 24th, Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Shin Sangjin) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Pangyo-Daejang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center at 631-2 Daejang-dong, Bundang-gu.

About 100 people, including Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin, city council members, and local residents, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
The Pangyo-Daejang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center will be built with a total project cost of 49 billion won on a site area of 3,142 square meters, with a total floor area of 9,292 square meters, consisting of two underground floors and four above-ground floors.
Inside the welfare center, there will be a swimming pool, 13 program rooms, an auditorium, a community care center for children, and a daytime care center for people with disabilities.
The target completion date is June 2028, and the opening is scheduled for November of the same year.

Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin said, "The Pangyo-Daejang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center will be built as an open space where no one, from children to seniors, is left out, and as a warm welfare infrastructure that will substantially improve the quality of life for residents."
