Gurye-gun County in South Jeolla Province announced that it is openly recruiting organizations to provide locally specialized services under the Integrated Care Support Project, which helps residents in need of care live stably within the community.

This project will be carried out in four areas: the Warmth-Filling Gap Service, which supports physical activities for people with mobility difficulties; the Gurye Departure Companion Service, which provides transportation support to hospitals; a customized nutritious porridge support service for those at risk of missing meals; and a housing environment improvement service to ensure residential safety. A total of three providers will be selected through this call for applications.

Organizations wishing to participate must refer to the announcement on the county website and submit an application form and related documents by February 27, 2026. The county plans to conduct a comprehensive review of implementation capacity, expertise, and other factors, and make the final selections in March 2026.

The project period will run from April to December 2026, and the county plans to provide daily life-oriented services to residents in the jurisdiction who are aged 65 or older and in need of care, as well as to persons under 65 with severe disabilities.

An official from Gurye-gun County said, "Integrated care is a community-based social welfare policy that goes beyond simply providing welfare services to help residents continue to lead healthy lives in the places where they have been living," adding, "We will build a dense care safety net through the active participation of organizations with professional expertise and on-site experience."
