BNK Kyongnam Bank is taking an active role in supporting the shipbuilding industry, a key growth engine in the region, and in expanding productive finance.
On the 24th, as part of its efforts to expand productive finance, BNK Kyongnam Bank signed a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement for the Growth of Partner Companies of Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd."

Bank President Kim Taehan visited the office of the Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. Partner Companies Council located at the Geoje Shipyard, where he held a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement Ceremony" with Chairman Yoon Jinseok and signed the agreement.
Under the mutual cooperation agreement, BNK Kyongnam Bank will make active efforts to provide preferential financial services and various financial benefits to companies and demand companies recommended by the Partner Companies Council.
The Partner Companies Council will actively cooperate on administrative matters required for financial support work and on promoting financial support programs, and will share corporate information between the parties to ensure smooth financial support.
Bank President Kim Taehan said, "I hope this mutual cooperation agreement for the growth of partner companies will contribute to strengthening the shipbuilding industry ecosystem and revitalizing the regional economy. Going forward, BNK Kyongnam Bank will continue to take the lead in supporting the further growth and development of the region's specialized industries, including the shipbuilding industry, as well as defense and aerospace."
Prior to signing the mutual cooperation agreement with the Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. Partner Companies Council, Bank President Kim Taehan visited the Geoje Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he discussed the development of the regional shipbuilding industry and revitalization of the regional economy with Chairman Kim Jeomsu.
Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank is fully implementing "region-based productive finance" and expanding financial support for the region's specialized industries, including marine, shipbuilding, defense, logistics, and aerospace, which serve as key growth engines for the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam area.
