Selected in September last year, active for five months
The most popular program: "Practitioner Mentoring"
Best team and outstanding participants receive prize money and document screening exemption
Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 24th that it held the 1st-term closing ceremony of the ACE Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) University Supporters on the 23rd.
Since being selected in September 2025, the ACE ETF University Supporters have spent about five months promoting ACE ETF through various online and offline activities. Representative examples include campus attack events held at Sogang University and Kyung Hee University, as well as volunteer work at Babfor in January this year.
On the 23rd, executives of Korea Investment Trust Management and student supporters posed for a commemorative photo at the ACE ETF University Supporters 1st Cohort closing ceremony held at the Korea Investment Trust Management headquarters. Photo provided by Korea Investment Trust Management.
Programs were also arranged to help supporters who are interested in pursuing careers in the financial sector. A prime example was a special lecture by executives attended by President Bae Jae-gyu, Head of Corporate Planning Cho Jun-hwan, and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Lee Mi-yeon. One of the student supporters who participated in the lecture said, "It was valuable to directly learn about economic trends and mindset-setting from executives working in the financial sector."
There was also a mentoring session with practitioners from ETF-related departments. The mentoring was conducted in small groups after collecting each supporter’s preferred department. As it focused on Q&A about getting a job in finance and feedback on self-introduction letters, many students cited "mentoring" as the most beneficial program during their time as supporters.
At the event, not only were activity results presented, but the final mission winning team’s presentation and awards for the best team and outstanding participants were also held. Team 5, which produced a variety of online content and demonstrated a high level of completion in offline missions, was selected as the best team, while Yoon Seo-bin from Dongguk University, who showed consistently active participation throughout the supporters’ activities, was chosen as an outstanding participant. A total of five people selected as the best team members and outstanding participants will receive a cash prize and a benefit of being exempted from the document screening stage when applying for open recruitment at Korea Investment Trust Management.
"This was the first time our company ran a university supporters program, and thanks to the students working harder than we expected, it brought new energy to ACE ETF," said Bae Jae-gyu, President of Korea Investment Trust Management. "I would like to express my gratitude to the student supporters for proactively putting a wide range of promotional ideas into practice."
