Edutech Company CT Launches Two New AI Education Solutions

CT, an edutech company that received investment from domestic venture capital (VC) firm atinuminvest, announced on the 24th that it has launched two customized solutions designed to accelerate the transition to artificial intelligence (AI) in education settings.

The new solutions are "Sandbox," a generative AI practice tool for students, and "Writing," which supports teachers with written and essay-type assessments. Their goal is to address two key challenges in the education sector at the same time: concerns about the potential harm that general-purpose AI may cause to students, and teacher work overload resulting from process-oriented assessment.

Sandbox is an education-only tool designed so that students can practice using generative AI in a safer environment. It blocks the risk of misinformation and exposure to harmful content that can occur with commercial large language models (LLMs). Through this tool, teachers can control the scope and usage of AI responses, and they can also monitor students' prompts in real time to decide whether to approve them.

Writing, an all-in-one solution that supports every aspect of written and essay-type assessment work, helps teachers handle the entire process on a single platform, from establishing assessment plans to creating questions, grading, and providing feedback. Using advanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology, it assists with grading by instantly converting handwritten answers on paper into digital text when scanned. Based on the grading criteria set by the teacher, it analyzes logical structure and the inclusion of key words to provide a first-stage evaluation guide.

Cho Hyunkoo, CEO of CT, said, "Sandbox and Writing go beyond AI that merely supports knowledge-memorization-based education; they are products that, in actual classes, foster students' creativity and even enable multidimensional assessment."

Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of the new solutions, CT plans to run a new-semester promotion for digital leading schools and AI-focused schools nationwide.
