Doosan Yeongang Foundation to Provide Total of 3 Billion Won in Scholarships This Year

Elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as university students

The Doosan Yeongang Foundation announced on the 24th that it will provide scholarships totaling 3 billion won this year.

The Doosan Yeongang Foundation plans to carry out various scholarship programs this year, including the 'Doosan Dream Tree Scholarship' and the 'Multicultural Family Scholarship'. It plans to provide scholarships totaling approximately 3 billion won per year to selected scholarship recipients, including elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as university students.

Earlier, on the 23rd, the Doosan Yeongang Foundation held the first 'Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony' of the year at the EL Tower in Yangjae, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and awarded 1.4 billion won in scholarships to 175 university students. The scholarship recipients selected this time are students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and exemplary school life.

Park Yonghyun, Chairman of the Doosan Yeongang Foundation, said, "I hope that the students selected as scholarship recipients will continue to pursue their respective dreams and grow into talents who will lead the society of the future," adding, "I sincerely support your passion and potential."

Meanwhile, since its establishment in 1978, the Doosan Yeongang Foundation has provided scholarships to 20,530 students, including elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as university students, who have achieved excellent academic performance despite difficult circumstances.
