The Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation is a system that assesses the overall level of information disclosure practices at central government agencies and local governments. It evaluates performance by comprehensively reflecting 12 indicators across 5 areas: prior information disclosure, original document disclosure, processing of information disclosure requests, customer management, and system operation.

According to the results of the 2025 Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation released by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 11th, Goyang Special City received the highest rating among 75 institutions in the same evaluation group, out of a total of 309 administrative agencies.

In this evaluation, the city scored a total of 95.04 points, an increase of 4.45 points from last year’s score of 90.59 points, achieving an excellent result that far exceeds the national average score of 88.35 points for cities of the same type.

In particular, while the average score for cities of the same type fell from 89.79 points in the previous year to 88.35 points, Goyang Special City further strengthened its information disclosure capabilities and significantly widened the gap with other institutions.

An official from Goyang City said, "We will continue to expand our information disclosure services and strengthen transparency and accountability in administration so that we can realize an open government that citizens can trust."
