Acceleration of Aerospace Industry Clustering... Gearing Up to Secure Future Growth Engines
Sacheon City in Gyeongsangnam-do signed investment agreements totaling 44.0 billion won with three companies on the 23rd at the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Government Office to drive the future growth of the aerospace complex city.
This agreement is part of Sacheon City's strategic investment attraction efforts to leap forward as the central city of the aerospace industry in the Republic of Korea, and is expected to significantly contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of local industries and creating quality jobs.
The companies participating in the agreement are three in total: Carf Aero (CEO Baek Hyunyong, aircraft parts manufacturing (C31)), DNM Aviation (CEO Hwang Taebu, aircraft parts manufacturing (C31)), and DLHI (CEO Lee Junghak, still and gas generator manufacturing (29176)).

It plans to employ 20 people. In particular, the company intends to strengthen its capabilities in manufacturing power plant facilities, including HRSG modules.
An HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) is a key facility used in heat recovery processes in the industrial plant sector. It is a device that recovers heat from gas turbine exhaust gas to produce steam for power generation. It is known as a core facility in combined-cycle power plants that recycles high-temperature exhaust gas to improve power generation efficiency.
Since the launch of the 8th popularly elected municipal administration, Sacheon City has been achieving continuous results in attracting investment, thereby solidifying its status as a central city of the advanced aerospace industry.
With this large-scale investment agreement as a turning point, the city is expected to accelerate efforts to revitalize the local economy and secure new future growth engines.
Mayor Park Dongsik said, "This investment goes beyond simply building new factories and will become a turning point that elevates the aerospace industry ecosystem in Sacheon to the next level," adding, "We will spare no administrative and financial support so that the city can establish itself as a city that is favorable for doing business and a city where jobs continue to increase."
