Introduction to Content Industry Growth Policies and Funds
One-Stop Support from One-on-One Investment Consultations
Suncheon City will hold a briefing session to attract investment from content companies at 2:00 p.m. on the 26th at the Suncheon Center for Public Interest Activities.
This briefing has been prepared to support the growth of content companies that have relocated to Suncheon and to promote additional relocation and investment by companies wishing to move into the original downtown cluster.
The city will provide detailed explanations on content support policies by sector, as well as on the operation plan of the cultural content strategic fund, which has been created at a scale of 98 billion won. As the event places major emphasis on helping companies settle stably and on building an industrial cluster, it will also serve as an opportunity to share information and plans on various topics such as employment and settlement costs, content production costs, and comprehensive B2C and B2B content festivals.
Meanwhile, in line with the fund management plan, one-on-one investment consultations between management companies and firms will be conducted in two categories: intellectual property (IP) and new technologies.
The city will also conduct a tour of the original downtown cluster for companies considering relocation. A total of 35 vacant buildings and 63 units in the original downtown area, which have been pre-selected, will be included in the tour. Through the tour, the city plans to identify the needs of tenant companies and, by matching spaces with companies in the future, provide pleasant and efficient spaces so that they can carry out their content businesses smoothly.
An official from the city said, "We believe that content companies will be able to use this briefing session as an opportunity to establish plans for designing their industrial structure, including project development, investment, and recruitment," adding, "We will provide maximum support to foster Suncheon as a content hub in the South Coast region where dreams in the content field can come true."
