FSC Appoints Four New Civilian Members to Public Funds Management Committee

Recommended by the National Assembly and the National Court Administration

Shin Hyunhan, Professor at the Yonsei University School of Business, will serve as the civilian chairperson of the Public Funds Management Committee.

The Financial Services Commission announced on the 23rd that Chairman Lee Eogwon appointed four individuals, who were recommended by institutions such as the National Assembly and the National Court Administration in accordance with Article 4 of the Act on the Efficient Management of Public Funds, as members of the Public Funds Management Committee.

The newly appointed civilian members of the Public Funds Management Committee are Kim Kyungrok, Professor at the Sogang University Graduate School of Business, Park Sunyoung, Professor in the Department of Economics at Dongguk University, Kim Hwansoo, Managing Partner at Baeksong Law Firm, and Shin Hyunhan, Professor at the Yonsei University School of Business. The terms of the civilian members run from this day until February 22, 2028.

The civilian chairperson will be Shin Hyunhan, who was elected at the 248th meeting of the Public Funds Management Committee. Shin will serve as co-chairperson of the Public Funds Management Committee together with the Chairman of the Financial Services Commission.
