Hancom recorded its best-ever performance last year, driven by the successful market adoption of its AI agent (assistant) product lineup and the introduction of a new AI licensing framework.

Hancom Achieves Record Earnings Last Year... AI Product Line Drives Upward Growth

Hancom announced on the 23rd, via a preliminary earnings disclosure, that on a separate basis it achieved operating profit of 50.9 billion won and sales of 175.3 billion won last year. Compared with the previous year, sales increased by 10.2% and operating profit by 2.4%.

The company explained that a fundamental shift in its revenue structure drove the results. It broke away from the confines of the limited packaged software market and introduced an AI license model centered on the "Hancom Agent." Under this model, users pay according to the extent they utilize AI functions, or fees are structured in line with the size of the enterprise. "Hancom Assistant" has been continuously used in work environments in the public sector and financial institutions, forming a solid revenue base.

The company also cited its data optimization technology as one of the performance drivers. Leveraging its technology to convert unstructured document data into AI training data, Hancom has taken a leading position in the market. It is also participating in the government's "Independent AI Foundation Model Project" as part of the LG AI Research consortium, where it is responsible for applying independent AI models to industrial sites and expanding related application services.

This year, Hancom plans to establish itself as an AI orchestration company that organically integrates with global technology platforms and coordinates collaboration among multiple AIs.

Hancom CEO Kim Yeonsu said, "We will lead the global AX market as a pioneering AI orchestration company that enables AI to work in the most efficient way across global platforms."
