Six Business Support Organizations Including Daegu Main Customs, KOTRA Gumi Branch, and Gyeongbuk Western Intellectual Property Center Join Forces
Guidance on Export-Related Support Programs for Agrifood Export Companies and Small Businesses

On February 23, the Gyeongbuk FTA Trade Promotion Center of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the "Comprehensive Briefing on the Agrifood and Small Business One-Stop Support Project" in the medium conference room on the first floor of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, jointly with the Gumi Small Business Comprehensive Center and the Gumi Food Integrated Support Center.

This briefing was organized to provide, in one place, information on support programs that had been dispersed across different institutions, and to jointly introduce export-related support schemes such as customs clearance, FTAs, overseas market development, and intellectual property rights.


At the briefing, relevant organizations including the Daegu Main Customs, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Support Office (Gumi branch) of KOTRA, and the Gyeongbuk Western Intellectual Property Center participated to introduce their key support programs by institution, while representatives from agrifood companies and small businesses in and around the Gumi area attended and showed strong interest.


Yoon Jaeho, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "Agrifood businesses and small businesses are an important foundation of the regional economy," and added, "We will continue to identify and strengthen the necessary support programs so that they can keep growing."
