Briefing on Key Work Plans for 2026
10-Day Legislative Schedule Begins
The Sangju City Council in North Gyeongsang Province convened the 237th Special Session at the council’s main chamber on the 23rd and began a 10-day legislative schedule that will run until March 4.
At the first plenary session held on the 23rd during this Special Session, the council handled agenda items including the appointment of auditors for the 2025 fiscal year settlement of accounts, and it plans to receive reports on this year’s major work plans from the 24th to the 27th.
In addition, on March 3, each standing committee will review and deliberate on agenda items such as ordinance bills, and the council plans to conclude the 10-day legislative schedule with the 6th plenary session on the 4th.
Ahn Kyungsuk, Chairperson of the Sangju City Council, said, “Through this Special Session, I hope you will identify Sangju City’s key work for 2026, confirm the direction of municipal administration, and strive to ensure that major policy initiatives are implemented for the benefit of citizens.”
