Sangju City Holds Residents' Briefing on Hamchang Yunjik Apartment Complex Jaireune Construction Project

Advance Guidance on Apartment Construction Project
Expected to Promote Resident Communication and Prevent Complaints

Sangju City in North Gyeongsang Province held a residents' briefing session on the “Hamchang Yunjik apartment complex (Jaireune) construction project” on the 3rd floor auditorium of the Hamchang-eup Administrative Welfare Center on the 20th.

This residents' briefing session was organized to provide residents in advance with information on the “Hamchang Yunjik apartment complex (Jaireune)” construction project, which is scheduled to begin in March 2026, and to offer an overall explanation of the construction work.

During the briefing, officials gave detailed explanations on the following: an overview of the project and architectural plan; the construction schedule; matters related to tenant recruitment; environmental management measures concerning noise, vibration, and fugitive dust during construction; and traffic routes for construction vehicles and safety management plans. In addition, a Q&A session was held to address residents' questions and to provide a platform for communication that gathered a wide range of opinions.

Kim Woongjeong, head of the Architecture Division, said, “By providing sufficient information in advance on this large-scale apartment construction project and listening to residents' opinions, we aim to minimize inconvenience during the construction process and realize a trustworthy architectural administration.”
