KOSHA Gyeongnam Eastern Branch Holds Industrial Accident Prevention Campaign at Miryang Arirang Marathon

Promoting a culture of safety to around 10,000 participants...
"Nothing is more precious than your safety"

The Gyeongnam Eastern Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA, headed by Branch Director Sim Yeonseob) carried out a campaign to prevent industrial accidents and promote a culture of safety at the site of the "Miryang Arirang Marathon" held at the Miryang Sports Complex on the 22nd.

This campaign was prepared together with the Gyeongnam Eastern Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group to raise awareness of the importance of safety among approximately 10,000 participants and citizens.

Under the slogan "Nothing is more precious than your safety," the agency operated a safety culture promotion booth inside the venue. At the booth, programs such as safety rule quizzes were offered so that citizens could participate easily and enjoyably, and small souvenirs were provided to those who took part.

Branch Director Sim Yeonseob said, "Just as important as completing the marathon is returning home safely from our workplaces," and added, "The Gyeongnam Eastern Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group will continue to carry out campaigns that citizens can truly feel, and we will do our best to ensure that a solid culture of safety takes root not only at industrial worksites but throughout the local community as a whole."
