Yeoncheon-gun Community Social Security Council Holds "Bold Challenge" Scholarship Award Ceremony

The Yeoncheon-gun Community Social Security Council in Gyeonggi Province held a presentation ceremony for scholarship certificates and awards on the 20th in the situation room on the second floor of the main building of Yeoncheon-gun Office for newly enrolled university students from households legally classified as low-income.

This scholarship program was provided to 15 newly enrolled university students for the 2026 academic year from households of basic livelihood security recipients and legally classified near-poverty classes residing in Yeoncheon-gun, with 1 million won per person, totaling 15 million won.

This project was promoted by utilizing designated donations to Yeoncheon-gun in accordance with the 5th Yeoncheon-gun Community Social Security Plan, and was prepared to alleviate the financial burden caused by university admission and to support a stable learning environment.

An official from Yeoncheon-gun said, "We will continue to support and encourage local young people who are standing at a new starting line so that they can move forward vigorously toward their bold dreams."
