Exhibiting AI Infrastructure Including SK Telecom's AI DC Know-how
"A.Dot X K1," Advanced to Phase 2 of the Independent AI Foundation Model Project, to Be Demonstrated On Site
SK Telecom announced on the 22nd that it will showcase its competitiveness in "full-stack AI" - encompassing AI infrastructure, models, and services end-to-end - at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, the world's largest mobile exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain.
MWC26, which will be held from March 2 to 5 (local time) next month, will feature participation from about 2,900 companies from 205 countries. This year marks the 20th anniversary of MWC, and the organizer, the GSM Association (GSMA), has chosen "The IQ Era" as this year's theme.

At the SK Telecom exhibition hall, visitors will be able to explore AI infrastructure-related technologies, including know-how in AI data centers (DC), network AI, and marketing AI. Specifically, SK Telecom will present the integrated "K-Sovereign GPU as a Service (GPUaaS)" solution, which combines: ▲the intelligent platform "AI DC Infra Manager" that monitors and manages AI DCs in real time ▲the high-performance, high-efficiency cloud platform "Petasus AI Cloud" ▲the GPU resource optimization solution "AI Cloud Manager" ▲and the real-time monitoring system "Gaia." It will also introduce "AI Inference Factory," a next-generation inference-centric solution.
In the network domain, SK Telecom will showcase: ▲various AI agents applied to networks ▲"AI Base Station (AI-RAN)" technology that provides telecommunications and AI services simultaneously ▲on-device AI-based antenna optimization technology ▲and "communication-sensing integration" technology, which collects environmental information using radio signals.
AI models and AI services will also be on display. The large-scale AI model "A.Dot X K1," with 519 billion parameters, which advanced to Phase 2 of the government's "Independent AI Foundation Model" (Dokpamo) project in January, will be demonstrated on site. In addition, visitors will be able to explore various models that SK Telecom has released as open source under its AI language model brand "A.Dot X."
SK Telecom will also present services related to physical AI. These include: ▲the "Digital Twin Platform," which precisely replicates the real world to support the decision-making and planning of physical AI ▲the "Robot Training Platform," which connects virtual environments with real-world sites to help physical AI learn the necessary senses ▲and "Synapse Go," a vision solution that provides high-performance analysis of first-person-view on-site video.
In addition, the exhibition hall will feature a range of SK Telecom AI services, including: ▲the AI phone service "A.Dot Phone" ▲the AI voice recording service "A.Dot Note" ▲and "CareVia," an AI-based behavior-recognition care service. Four Korean AI companies collaborating with SK Telecom - Rebellions, MangoBoost, SelectStar, and Studio Lab - will also participate in organizing the exhibition space.
SK Telecom will also seek to expand collaboration with global companies at MWC 2026. It will focus on cooperation related to AI data centers and AI models, areas in which it has accumulated know-how through experiences such as attracting the Ulsan AI DC and building "Haein." To this end, SK Telecom CEO Jeong Jaeheon and other members of the management team plan to hold a series of meetings with relevant companies, including global telecom operators, AI DC providers, and startups from around the world.
Meanwhile, SK Telecom will also support Korean startups participating in MWC26. It is preparing initiatives such as operating a dedicated exhibition hall for startups and supporting efforts to attract global investment.
Jeong Jaeheon, President of SK Telecom, said, "This year's MWC26 will be an opportunity to show the world how SK Telecom is actually implementing AI infrastructure, models, and services based on telecommunications," adding, "We will elevate SK Telecom's role in the global AI ecosystem to the next level through our full-stack AI competitiveness."
