Busan Urban Corporation Achieves "Best" Grade in Interior Ministry Information Disclosure Evaluation for Second Consecutive Year

Scoring 99.6 Points...Outperforming the Metropolitan Public Corporation Average and Ranking Among the Top 10 Institutions

Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) announced on the 19th that it received the highest grade of "Best" in the "2025 Comprehensive Evaluation of Information Disclosure" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The Comprehensive Evaluation of Information Disclosure is a system that assesses the overall level of information disclosure by central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, including prior information disclosure, processing of information disclosure requests, customer management, and system operation. It is regarded as a key indicator for measuring the transparency and accountability of public institutions.

In this evaluation, Busan Urban Corporation scored 99.6 out of 100 points, which is 4.22 points higher than the average score of 95.38 points for metropolitan public corporations and public enterprises. It was selected as one of the top 10 institutions among a total of 47 and received the Best grade, achieving the Best grade for the second consecutive year following last year.

BMC has continuously expanded the scope of publicly available items so that citizens can more easily access the information they need, and has strengthened systematic management and internal inspections throughout the entire information disclosure process.
