Samsung Electronics' latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 series, which is set to be unveiled on February 26, is expected to feature new artificial intelligence (AI)-based camera capabilities.

On February 19, Samsung Electronics released teaser videos for the Galaxy S26 series' AI camera features through its Newsroom. The three teaser clips unveiled that day showcased creative use cases powered by Galaxy AI.

The videos specifically show AI filling in the missing part of a cupcake that has a bite taken out of it, transforming a photo into a background-harmonized image when a sketch is drawn over it, and turning a pet photo into a variety of stickers with different expressions and poses.

According to Samsung Electronics, Galaxy AI embedded in the Galaxy S26 series provides integrated advanced creative features. This connects every step from shooting to editing and sharing into one seamless experience. In this process, users can create content without having to switch between apps or use complex editing tools.

Samsung Electronics stated, "Now anyone can create movie-like video content, capture the movement of stars in the night sky, and take richly detailed photos even in low-light environments," adding, "With natural multimodal input, you can easily edit your results with just a few words."

Meanwhile, on February 25 (local time), Samsung Electronics will hold the "Galaxy Unpacked 2026" event in San Francisco, United States, where it will unveil the Galaxy S26 series. The Galaxy S26 lineup will consist of three models: standard, Plus, and Ultra. At this Unpacked event as well, Samsung Electronics is expected to place strong emphasis on enhanced AI features.
