BTS Member J-Hope Donates 100 Million Won to His Alma Mater on His Birthday... Cumulative Donations Surpass 1 Billion Won

ChildFund Korea: "J-Hope Donates 100 Million Won
To Be Used for Scholarships at Gwangju Global High School and Jeonnam Girls' Commercial High School"

The child welfare organization ChildFund Korea announced on the 18th that J-Hope, a member of the group BTS, donated 100 million won to mark his birthday.


This donation will be used to provide scholarships to students at Jeonnam Girls' Commercial High School in the same region, as well as to juniors at J-Hope's alma mater, Gwangju Global High School.

With this donation, J-Hope has become the 14th member of ChildFund Korea's top-tier donor group, the Green Noble Trinity Club. This club is a membership group for donors whose cumulative contributions total 1 billion won or more.


Since 2018, J-Hope has continued to donate through ChildFund Korea to support various vulnerable groups in society, including covering medical expenses for sick children and assisting children from families in crisis due to COVID-19.
