Naver announced on the 14th that it will offer personalized services for the Lunar New Year holiday. Through Naver Search, users can find Lunar New Year greetings suitable for the holiday period and check real-time queue status at major airport departure halls, while Naver Map will provide information on parking lots that are open to the public free of charge during the holiday.

First, when users search for keywords such as "Seollal" or "Lunar New Year holiday" in the Naver search bar during the holiday, they can view a variety of Seollal-related information in the anniversary information section, including "New Year greetings" and "how to perform ancestral rites." They can also access highway traffic information for the outbound and return journeys, as well as information on hospitals and pharmacies that remain open during the holiday, via direct links to their official websites.

Naver will also provide real-time airport waiting information for the growing number of travelers during the holiday. When users search for terms such as "Incheon International Airport departure hall waiting time," "Gimpo Airport boarding time required," or "Gimhae Airport congestion level," they can check real-time waiting times for each departure hall. For domestic flights at Gimpo, Gimhae, and Jeju airports, users can view the time required from check-in to boarding. In particular, starting this holiday, the service will be expanded to cover Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport as well.

In addition, users can check various airport convenience information via Naver Search, including: real-time airport parking lot status; operating hours and store locations of Incheon Airport duty-free shops (available on mobile) and Jeju Airport JDC Duty Free; and domestic and international flight information at airports.

Naver Map will provide information on parking lots that are open free of charge during the Lunar New Year holiday. By searching on Naver Map for terms such as "Seollal free parking lot," "holiday free parking lot," "holiday free open parking lot," "free open parking lot," or "free public parking lot," users can find parking facilities near their current location or destination and even receive route guidance. This free opening of public parking lots operated by public institutions, government agencies, schools, and other entities across the country will cover about 10,000 locations and will run until the 18th.

For users planning trips during the holiday, Naver Travel is offering "#GoldenHoliday" content. Here, users can explore domestic travel destinations by theme, including winter attractions and seasonal foods. Naver is also providing a "domestic travel course recommendation" service that utilizes its artificial intelligence (AI)-based location recommendation system, "AiRSPACE."

Users can also find things to enjoy during the Lunar New Year holiday on Naver. They can check TV special programs scheduled by each broadcaster, movies currently in theaters, and festivals and performances worth visiting. On the streaming platform Chzzzik, major events of the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics and esports leagues held during the Lunar New Year holiday will be streamed live.
