Provincial Office of Education to Hold YouTube Preparatory Session
for Elementary and Middle School Parents with Current Teachers
Real-Time Information Provided via "Hakkkio TV"

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education will hold an "Online Preparatory Session for Parents of New Elementary and Middle School Students" via YouTube live broadcast at 10 a.m. on the 23rd and 24th.

This online preparatory session has been prepared to help students adapt to their new schools as they move up to a higher level and to address parents' questions. It will be streamed live through the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education's official YouTube channel, "Hakkkio TV."


In particular, current elementary and middle school teachers will appear in person to provide practical information on overall school life. The session will be run in an interactive format, with teachers answering parents' questions on the spot that are submitted via real-time comments during the broadcast.


The middle school segment on the 23rd will focus on aspects of middle school life that differ from elementary school and will cover essential information that should be known before moving up, including preparations before admission, middle school daily life, the middle school curriculum, and middle school assessments.


The elementary school segment on the 24th will focus on topics that new parents are curious about, including an overview of elementary school, the annual schedule and a typical day, guidance on first-grade educational activities, guidance on elementary school assessments, and additional tips under the theme "It Will Be Even Better If You Do This!"
