Day One Company Releases "2025 Adult AI Education Trends"
Last year, the average amount spent by an adult to learn artificial intelligence (AI) was found to be about 410,000 won.
Day One Company released the "2025 Adult AI Education Trends" on the 12th. The report is based on an analysis of learning data from four education brands operated by Day One Company: Fast Campus, Coloso, My Light, and Zero Base.
According to Fast Campus, a practical training brand, the average amount spent per person on AI education content was about 410,000 won, an increase of 38.7% from the previous year. During the same period, the number of purchasers of AI education content also rose by 33.8%. The number of views of AI lecture detail pages on Fast Campus surged 17-fold year-on-year to 6.42 million, indicating that interest in AI learning is expanding rapidly.
There was also notable demand for hands-on training content targeting non-developers, such as "Vibe Coding." Vibe Coding is an education package designed to enable learners without development knowledge to use AI coding tools to build web services and connect them all the way to monetization.
Regarding these trends, Day One Company analyzed that, starting in 2025, the adult AI education market has shifted to a "practical-oriented" paradigm that emphasizes tangible outcomes such as work performance and revenue generation, going beyond simple technological understanding.
This practical-oriented learning trend also appeared in other brands. At Coloso, a job skills education brand, content featuring AI practical techniques that can be applied immediately in the industry gained popularity.
At My Light, a workbook brand, side-job-focused workbooks utilizing AI drew attention. Day One Company explained that products such as the "ChatGPT Blog Monetization Workbook," the "AI Fairy Tale Writer Debut Workbook," and the "AI Playlist YouTuber Debut Workbook," which combines AI music generation with know-how on creating YouTube revenue, ranked among the top in sales.
Zero Base, a job information company, has fully introduced AI-based job search solutions that provide personalized services in response to the increasingly competitive recruitment market, including AI competency tests, AI cover letter review, and AI mock tests for Toss and OPIc.
Lee Kangmin, CEO of Day One Company, said, "AI education has now gone beyond the stage of simply learning technology and is establishing itself as a means to realize individual capabilities and create opportunities," adding, "We will continue to respond swiftly to changes and focus on creating content that enables anyone to make practical use of AI."
